The Schrade One Piece Drop Forged SCHF21 9" Double Edge is a special dagger knife, forged from one piece of 1070 carbon steel. It has a double-sided grind and the handle is hollow. As such you have enough room for other luggage. The end of the handle is enhanced with a hard glass breaker which is useful in case of emergency.
The production of a knife like this is quite difficult and costly. The blade and handle are made from one solid piece of 1070 carbon steel. Tough, easy to sharpen. Just be careful with rust. That is why Schrade has given it a matt grey coating.
The Schrade SCHF21 comes with a hard plastic sheath with a steel belt clip.

Schrade makes great knives at good prices. That's what they are good at. There are few brands that can compete with these kinds of prices. This does, however, mean that the finish isn't always perfect. Not something to worry about, and in line with the prices.
